The Tower District, Fresno's vibrant and diverse business community, deserves a Marketing Committee that effectively promotes its unique cultural and economic potential. Recently, concerns have been raised about the current leadership of the Tower District Marketing Committee. Many believe that it is not adequately advocating and promoting our district's interests. Concerns include compliance with current bylaws that require a monthly treasure's report including all transactions and balances, maintenance of the kiosk at Olive & Wishon, community events, and more.

The Tower District is home to numerous local businesses and over 18,000 residents. It is renowned for its lively arts scene, historic architecture, and eclectic mix of shops and restaurants. However, under the current leadership of the Marketing Committee, we have seen a decline in promotional activities which has negatively impacted local businesses and community engagement.

It's crucial for our district to have a marketing committee that can effectively showcase what makes us special - our diversity, creativity, history - to attract visitors from across the city and beyond. A change in leadership could bring fresh ideas and strategies to better promote our district.
We are calling on all stakeholders within the Tower District to support this petition for a vote of no confidence and request a change in leadership within our Marketing Committee. Let us work together towards a brighter future for business owners and residents alike.
