Why people sign

I do not want any major electrical consumption on our local grid. I don't want Lauderdale groundwater tapped for cooling, and a risk of water contamination. I also am opposed to air and sound pollution.

I don't want my natural areas and farmland to be polluted.

This affects everyone, from the oldest to the youngest. If we cannot secure a future for the enviorment and the amount of water used in the processes of these buildings being built our children and the Earth will suffer.

Because of the health implications. And the rising cost of utilities that every other city has had that has allowed data centers in their area. And they don’t bring in a bunch of jobs to help our community.

im against data centers and the problems they cause
