Nothing like this exists in the area. The Ruby Mountains are very landlocked in the Spring Creek and Lamoille areas and this rezone from Open Space (OS) to Agricultural Recreation (AgREC) could open an amazing opportunity for the community to enjoy year-round. People on neighboring parcels in the area are fighting this, but we believe that the greater public in the surrounding areas would very much be in support of something like this and believe the rezone would be a great addition to the area.
