Stop the destruction of the greatest basketball court in Royal oak

Reason

Lockman’s court has been the place of memories for many generations of “hoopers” in the city of Royal oak. The court may be seen as a dump and uneven as the baskets are on different heights and it’s really just a slab of concrete. But I argue this is what makes it so so great. The court has been here for many years and provides some of this community fondest memories and experiences. The park can go under construction, but don’t touch our basketball court. This basketball court keeps so many people in a safe space and helps many battle depression as it is an outlet. Please help and do not destroy OUR COURT.

Thank you for your support, Eddie Skaleski from Royal Oak

Not yet a PRO argument.

No CONTRA argument yet.

Why people sign

This court is a staple of Royal Oak. There is not another basketball court in Royal Oak that draws as many people. If this court is torn down it will be a great disservice to future generations of Royal Oak kids.
