A Call for Mass Deportation

UPDATED PETITION TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICACalling on the President to Proclaim a National Referendum on the Mass Deportation of Illegal Foreigners in Terms of Section 84(2)(g) of the Constitution and the Referendums Act, 1983

To:President of the Republic of South AfricaThe PresidencyUnion Buildings, Government AvenuePretoria

We, the undersigned citizens of the Republic of South Africa, respectfully petition Your Excellency to exercise your constitutional powers under Section 84(2)(g) of the Constitution and the Referendums Act, 1983 by proclaiming a National Referendum on the following question:“Should South Africa implement an immediate and coordinated mass deportation of all illegal foreigners residing within the country?”

RATIONALESouth Africans are experiencing growing socioeconomic pressures including unemployment, strain on public services, housing, healthcare, education, and public safety due to unmanaged illegal immigration.

The Constitution enables the President to call a national referendum in terms of national legislation, and the Referendums Act provides the legal framework for conducting referendums in the Republic.

The people of South Africa deserve an opportunity to express their views directly on a matter of national importance that affects every community. This petition reflects the will of ordinary citizens who seek a constitutional mechanism for democratic expression and accountability.

REQUESTSWe, the undersigned, respectfully call on Your Excellency to:

Proclaim and publish in the Government Gazette a national referendum in terms of Section 84(2)(g) of the Constitution and the Referendums Act, 1983, to ascertain the views of South African citizens on the question above.

Direct the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to prepare for and administer the referendum in accordance with the Referendums Act and all applicable laws.

Ensure the referendum is free, fair, transparent, and open to all eligible South African voters in order to reflect the true will of the people.

We submit this petition in the interest of constitutional democracy, national sovereignty, and public accountability. We firmly believe that South Africans must be given the constitutional right to decide on this matter through a national referendum.Respectfully submitted.
