Petition addressed to: Minister of Transport

South Africans' freedom to choose e-hailing services as their transportation of choice is a "Right" that must be vigorously defended and protected

Reason

The right of South Africans to choose e-hailing as their preferred mode of transportation has been marred by violence, and as AGF, we believe that their freedom of choice must be defended and protected by the authorities. Failure to do so implies that citizens are left to fend for themselves. Recently, very disturbing videos of violence against citizens by those claiming to be Captains of the industry have surfaced, and it is blatantly clear that even South African Police Services have relinquished their responsibility.

We thus urge all South Africans who share this sentiment to sign this petition, which will be presented to the South African President and the South African Police Services, to safeguard their right to use e-hailing services as their transportation of choice without any further prejudice

Thank you so much for your support, Azanian Ground Forces (AGF), Bedford Gardnes, Johannesburg,
