I changed the goal for signatures because after reviewing records held with the State of Michigan, I realized that the target signature count was not 250. There are only 257 wine grape farmers registered with the state. With the requirement being 51% of farmers representing 51% of the acreage, that lessens our minimum number to 132 signatures. -Brian Lillie 7.22.24
