Did Are you knowaware that all someone has to do to kidnap a child or children in my case is go to Probate Court today and make false statements that a parent has disappeared? Then Claim Due Diligence to serve you and your children can be taken from you without you ever knowing the petition for Guardianship was even filed? These are not statements I can reference these are my experiences and those of other parents DidI have met. Sadly the truthful reason I am able to tell you all of this is this is what happened to me and while trying to fight for my rights to tell the courts what had happened which no one cares to hearme and ismy nearlysons, impossible without forking out $20K to retain an attorney with no guarantee of winning. I was just as shocked to discover this type of fraud is happening to innocent parents every day in our Probate Courts. I met these parents each time I went to court and heard attorneys tell me about so many others who have fallen victim to the same crimes and fate I am facing today. I am driven to pass this law because If I can't get my children back by doing this I will at least protect other parents from this heartache and the nightmare I am forced to live and at least my children will know one day that I did everything I could to stop this from happening to their children and the children's children. Did anyone ever warn you that someone could submit a simple claim that a parent has disappeared and ask the judge to release them from notifying the parent, ask the courts to release any requirements to interview parents, and have the parent's parental rights completely taken away, and a do not travel ban can be placed so you can't even visit with your children if they are taken to a different location just on the word someone gave with no questions asked? When this happens a parent loses the precious time they could have had to fight for their rights as parents and for their children. Instead, parents are left in the dark and most learn Guardianship was awarded far too late, and like in my case it was too late to do anything. This person got away with stealing my two children and continues to alienate me from them today. I have been fighting for six years even with the mountain of proof their application was riddled with lies or that the same day they applied for Guardianship and claimed I disappeared they provided my contact information to apply for Child support and the State Grants. Today it is nearly impossible to terminate a guardianship case when your children have been ailinated and taught to fear you. Any attorney will tell you that rarely will a Judge ever punish someone for committing such crimes in probate court even when they learn they have been manipulated and lied to. This is real, it is the truth and It indeed happened to me and it is happening in Orange County every day to others. Please.Please help me change this by giving parents their right to be notified when a Petition For Guardianship Case has been filed. Stop Judges from simply accepting anyone's word the parents can't be found by actually forcing someone to show proof that someone searched for the parent. I have 2000 followers on LinkedIn and 600 Facebook Friends. It would have taken seconds to locate me. This is every parent's nightmare and no different than having your child kidnapped. Only worse because no one can help me. It's Fraud, is illegal, and it is destroying lives. It can all stop with one simple law and some accountability to enforce the law and prosecute the perpetrators instead of paying them with our tax money to steal children and allow them to get away with it.
