Happy Friday to you! Unfortunately, the current board of commissioners voted to demolish the Holden Beach pier building at the January 28th meeting. Only three commissioners were in attendance and a question regarding whether a quorum was present has been asked. Therefore, a new facebook group has been created to exclusively address the concerns of taxpayers in Holden Beach. We are informing and educating the public on hot topics such as the parking, the pier, pier building, Block Q, summer concert venue, termination of town manager David Hewett, etc. If you want to stay informed on actions taken by the board of commissioners and what you can do to help, please join this group and share with your friends.
