I live in Pelham. Its a beautiful part of our county. I don't want our countryside to smell like chicken poop

I know people who have been in the waste recycling business for over 20 years. They tell me this has never succeeded.
Safety
I would love to maintain the integrity of Grundy County. Having this facility in such a small community puts a negative effect on the whole county. Take it somewhere else!

Water quality is my greatest concern. A tributary runs through my property and I have livestock that use the stream as their water source. The proposed site for the plant is 1/2 mile upstream of my property.

I love Grundy County, and hate seeing it being destroyed by pollution and the need for tourism.
Because we live in Grundy County for its natural beauty and clean air. This plant is not wanted by our community.
I was raised in Pelham and have family there. I also plan on moving back soon. I do not want to see Pelham treating like a septic tank.

I live in Grundy Co and travel through Pelham frequently.
My fiancee's family have lived on the same land in Pelham since the beginning of Pelham. This petition is important to me, because I would love to keep the land and fresh air as original as possible so our children's children will still have this beautiful area to live around and cherish throughout their lives. Introducing this plant would also cause so many underlying health issues and concerns to our citizens; especially our elderly and children.
As a resident of Pelham this is not the type of industry we need near a residential area.
