While a truck stop in the area would be objectionable in itself, the fact that its replacing a beautiful, historic building make it even more painful. It would be a complete 180 from a treasured historic icon to a bright, loud facility that is out of character with the surrounding area. Assuming it will be open and lit 24/7, It will also negatively impact all surrounding residents.
