I have been a dedicated employee of Tanner for almost 20 years. I have gotten numerous accolades (verbal ) throughout these year and would like Tanner to acknowledge my dedication to this company through thick and thin via at least a raise.

Make your dedicated employees happy!! We’ve needed a cost of living raise for several years now. The market increased raises aren’t cutting it.

Nursing staff employed by Tanner should be paid a fair wage above those entering as new employees. Our nurses are excellent. I often hear from patients how their experience is enhanced because of the care they received from our nurses.

I have been with Tanner 9 of my 10 years of nursing. It’s disheartening when new nurses are coming in making almost what I make. There are nurses with 2-3 years experience making MORE money than me. I stay at Tanner because the relationship I have with my coworkers and physicians is wonderful. I just believe that if the new hire rate goes up “x” amount then there needs to be that pay increase across the board.

As the prices of everything goes up, we as nurses that take care of the community should be able to live comfortably without working an extra job. We give great care and should be paid accordingly.

To match up the inflation and current living expenses. Experience nurse in the company happen to make less than the new graduate.

I am a nurse with experience being paid less than the new grad nurses. It is important to consider years of experience and the fact that less training required for these nurses when determining pay. Pay should also be higher for nurses who have been with Tanner a long time to retain them and reward them for their loyalty.

The cost of living has increased drastically and our yearly raises do not reflect this. While new employees see a higher pay rate, the dedicated employees deserve the same as we are the ones training those new employees.

The cost of living has increased drastically, especially the cost of groceries. Tanner needs to increase the rate of pay to help comply with the needs of their employees

As a new grad nurse, I believe this will further encourage senior nursing staff, that already know the policies of the facility and are well equipped to teach young nurses, such as myself, to staff at Tanner.

This petition is important to me because as a tanner employee many of our staff including myself come in to work and give remarkable care to our patients everyday despite what they may be going through we are always expected to be our own care givers while taking care of others and being there for someone we also are human and have to make sacrifices in our lives daily to be at work and to put in the overtime within our jobs to provide for our families an increase in the pay for employees will not only give relief to the hard working staff but to feel gratitude of showing integrity in everything we do without expecting something in return this petition will help remind us all that we are valued by our company and that we are taken care of and appreciated. Sometimes we come to threshold where we burn out and a pay raise can help remind the staff how much they are valued and not just by throwing small parties for staff members but for a company to take action in investing more into the staff it means a lot to know a company is willing to invest more into its workers because that's how important they see us as a foundation to everything we do and strive for while continuing to work and give 110% effort in achieving goals and to grow.

All Dedicated Employees, or long term employees, should receive a base pay increase that matches the increase of new employees. Also, the cost of living has increased by ~ 22% per the Consumer Price Index since 2020. Tanner needs to focus on the needs of all of its employees, not just new hires. We should not have to leave to receive what Tanner should have already been providing. Retention is just as important as hiring.

It is very frustrating and makes myself and other dedicated staff feel betrayed and taken advantage of to find out the starting rate of pay for new grad nurses. I understand we need staff and appreciate Tanner for providing us with new staff; however, more should be spent on the devoted employees. What I do not understand is how new grad nurses, with no experience, should get more pay than the devoted employees who have more experience and are training these new grads. On top of taking abuse from some of our patients, we now feel used by our employer. We are stretched so thin as it is and we are constantly expected to take on more and more responsibilities, which is tiring, stressful, and burns us out. We aren’t getting the respect that dedicated employees should. Every year we get a raise, yet every year the cost of our insurance increases. Actually, everything seems to increase. With the cost of living having increased so much and continuing to increase, for my mortgage payment has increased by $200 per month this year, I agree that the new hires should get good pay; however, the dedicated employees who train new grads and keep Tanner going should be caught up and be the highest paid. Our pay has not kept up with the rate of inflation. Our rate of pay is unfair compared to new grad nurse pay and taking inflation into consideration, for it took us years to make the rate of pay the new nurses are being started out at. We deserve more pay.
