Powerlifting as a whole needs to keep better standards

Keep integrity in check and at the forefront.

Because I believe in the integrity of federations and believe they need to hold themselves accountable and not let records like this be taken when clearly none of the dots are lining up and there clearly is something off

Because Nabil Lahlou deserves that world record and it’s not fair that someone cheats to take it away from him.

To keep the integrity of the powerlifting sport. Cheating and lying is not acceptable

Records should mean something. You work extremely hard to achieve a record to a professional standard, yet people can backdoor their way into small feds and break records people worked hard to achieve by cheating or getting favored by the refs so that fed can claim they have the strongest lifter

It’s the integrity of the sport. If anyone came just make up weight classes then why have them anyway. In our weight class the sport is different it’s about maximizing strength while keeping body weight low and if that’s not the sport then we just get outclassed by bigger guys

I am a powerlifter who would like to see the standard upheld

Raymond is a liar, a cheat, and a criminal. While it can’t be proven because he’s that sneaky, we know he broke into a well known gym and vandalized it.

Integrity of the sport

Records must matter and the competition levels must stay the same and be official throw out the world.

I'm concerned about cheating his way in order to steal the world record

We should have a fair and accurate record system for people who give their heart to the sport.

Because he obviously cheated and a man was robbed of an earned record.

The guy was obviously a cheater

To insure that the records people break are held to a high enough standard.

Unify and legitimize records

Records should be obtained and maintained with upmost confidence and scrutiny

Integrity of the sport.

If we can’t ensure world records are taken to standard and fairly across all individuals then we have no integrity as a sport. Sportsmanship is a core value of competition and to allow this sort of behavior to go unchecked will only hurt the validity of any and all other accomplishments strength athletes achieve in powerlifting

Because there should be justice for people who have their records broken in illegal or dishonest ways
