I want to be able to contact my child just in case something does happen, or if (most common case) my child has a doctors appt.

My children go here carson high school and I don’t see the need for phone pouches if there could be an emergency now what

I need to reach my child in case of an emergency. Lack of communication between the school and parents is crazy.

These phone pouches are stupid.

I would want my parents to contact me first if an emergency not the school first so then they could get me that would a waste of so much time

Student should be allowed to have their phone on them at all times, I see no point in taking them away from the children. 1 what if something happens and they need to call their parents/guardian? 2 I think kids should always have their phone on them just in case of family emergencies as well.

It doesn’t allow students to be free and like all that jazz, restricts them from doing certain things even and some of the AP classes rely on phones

In the event my children have an emergency they should be able to reach me without question, say there's an active shooter I feel cell phones would be a vital resource.

I don’t feel safe without my phone how will I call my parents to pick me up if I get hurt and too scared to go to office or like if I don’t have my phone how will I text my friends where they are

It takes away a right to have basic common to parents and other important figures.

Phones do not only serve as a distraction. They can be used as legitimate learning tools in the classroom and for elective classes. We should be able to use our phones at lunch, OUR free time, they don't need to be locked during a non-learning time.

there is no reason to be locking our phones. We also have emergencies, the school sucks at updating parents when things happen

I feel like the money can be used for something else like our athletic department not just our phones like they see it as such bad thing maybe they should figure out how to use them in the lesson maybe if they are the problem then why not learn with them

The usage of cellphones at school is vital for safety and knowledge enhancements.

This is an outrageous misspending of the school budget and will poorly effect every single student attending the school.

This is important to me because the school is wasting their money on something that isn’t really Necessary. They got rid of free lunches, most kids aren’t able to bring their own lunches to school and for the school to get rid of the ability to feed students are wrong. I think this phone thing is stupid and probably won’t last long.

It directly affects my safety in a school setting by restricting my access to my family or protective services. Not only that it stops nothing. Kids have been failing tests since school existed, taking away phones is nothing but a teacher appeasement.

Because I think having phones in school is very important because single mothers who are in school, or single fathers need them to communicate whenever there is an emergency and a lot of kids need them for emergencies too, plus I feel like having phone lockers wouldn't be safe INCASE anybody were to steal them or kids sneaking in and I feel like it would only cause more conflict with students, and trust me they will find another way to be unfocused and annoying
