These phone pouches are an incredible waste of school resources and money. Free lunches have been halted for these pouches that will both negatively effect Carson High School

What if my parents need to contact me or what if there’s a school shooting and I need to contact my parents and since everyone’s in shock or panic we won’t be able to unlock our phone. These pouches won’t last due to everyone’s impatience with phones. The students will tear up the pouches and it’s just going to cost the school more money to repair. Taking away the phones is just as good but just because one person can’t keep their phone in their backpack doesn’t mean everyone has to get their phones put in pouches.

In case of emergencies.

Because I should have my phone on standby because of my daughter

Because the district spent so much money on the wrong way to engage students instead of hiring a new teacher or putting the funds to more important uses. Not to mention there’s a thousand ways around using the pouches as intended and it will not last long. I am also a student who uses their phone to make sure they don’t forget their assignments so if anything my grades will go down from this decision.

If an emergency happens I can access my phone and it makes me feel unsafe.

Need to have Communication with my child while school times

This is important because i dont want any pouches touching my mother !@#$! phone

Because I rather have my phone in my pocket and then in a pouch, because what if I have an emergency and I can’t get to my phone and no one can get to me

Because I am a student of Carson high School

I don't want to get rid of my phone

I go to the high school and with these new arrangements could cause many problems.

Because I need my phone for mental reasons

It's dumb what if there is an emergency or need it to check there vitals or things like that this is completely uncalled for

I would like to contact my parents thoughtout the day.

Because this takes away so much opportunities for better ways of education. A student should not have to lock their phone.

because there could be an emergency that requires you to use your phones

This petition is important to me because the school district believes this is a way to have students engage at school this is going to have a negative impact on attendance and the willingness to be at school there has been multiple threats already that if there are phone pouches that our school will supposedly get shot up. this is risking students safety and there ability to learn. I for one will not be giving my phone nor giving into this childish behavior from the Carson city school district 😂

it’s only going to make things worse

So my parents can reach out to me incase they r late from picking me up at the end of school.Also to know if a guardin like my grandoarents or uncle or aunt to pick me up from school.

Why I think the phone pouches are stupid is because they ain’t pay for the phone. And what if something happens dose teacher be grimy

if there is ever an emergency and i need to tell loved ones i love them or at least let them know of the situation i won’t be able to if my phone is in a pouch, it would be devastating if something happened and there’s no way of reaching out if needed.

This petition is important to me because I need music to work better at school and because I need to be able to communicate with my family through out school due to medical stuff or family stuff and this phone pouch prohibits me from being able to focus better at school and communication with my family

Because cell phones belong to the students and parents not the school.

this is going to cause so many more issues rather then solve them
