This wonderful golf course, Carter Country Club, CCC, in Lebanon nh has been around since before I was born. From kids playing basketball at the CCB to lessons at Carter Country Club, later playing golf with friends and family members. My grandson, 3 brothers-in-law, nephews, cousins, and husband all have had memberships here and others in the upper Valley as well. As adults, these same kids have been playing with peers from school to adulthood. There are many men and women, over the ages between 70 and 90 years old. Many who continue playing, as soon as the snow disappears and they come back from the warmer climates . Carter was a night spot to dine and dance as well. Previous owner, Mr Goodwin, was the backbone of this facility who had a stipulation that before he sold the property, the CCC would still be able to exist.
