An important part of Lebanon’s history- great reconation for all. Please leave it for all to use and enjoy. Thankyou, Susan Johnson

Carter Country Club is a landmark of the city and an important place of community and culture. Developing the land would be yet another step in the wrong direction for the city, where projects are seemingly approved without regard to any ideal master plan or concern for the local residents.

Golf is an incredible game such as life. It teaches people young and old the value of discipline. A word that is losing its value in today’s age.

I played at Carter growing up in Canaan, NH. I play with my brother and father every time I visit. This is what we do with our time together. I would hate to see this iconic landscape with spectacular views be turned into anything else.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood behind Carter for my entire life and as the neighborhood and city changes places like this need saving

I’m from Lebanon and Carter Country Club has given me numerous special memories throughout the years: Wedding receptions, various functions and fundraisers, golf tournaments, and where I learned the great game of golf. It’s a landmark for certain, and every avenue should be explored to keep it as such.

My son learn to play golf there. It s important for young and old to have a place locally to use.
It is part of Lebanon history .

I lived up the street from Carter as a kid and would walk there to play with my friends every day in the summer from middle school through high school and college. It’s an important place to me and others in the community

This course is more important to than community that adding to the already substantial wealth of the owner, who is trying to back room deal his way out of a clause written in the deed to secure its future.

I work at Carter. My dad used to golf there in the 80’s and 90’s. It’s a good family course for people of all skill level.

Because the agreement in place when this property was purchased by the current owner was that the golf course was to remain where it is for perpetuity. Because the Carter Country Club is an important feature of Lebanon. Because the Carter Country Club is a historical golf course that deserves to be preserved for the future.
