La pétition est adressée à : County Board of Supervisors
The Townships of Lincoln, Union, and a portion of Danville (east township line to Jonquil Ave). needs emergency medical services. Currently there is not a contract with a transport ambulance service. There are approximately 633 families that would benefit from an ambulance transport unit. A proposed tax for these expenses would be put on a ballot, not to exceed $1.00 per $1,000 of taxable valuation (excluding ag land). A contract with Mason City Fire Department would be executed upon passage of the ballot.
Raison
Without this new Emergency Medical Services District there will no longer be Ambulance or Ambulance Transport services beginning in July of 2024.
