We the people of the Cordova community, made up of alumni, parents, students hereby petition both the administration and the school board of Walker County to hire the most qualified applicant to the head football coach position. We as the community demand that our football program, as well as all athletics, be held to a high standard that teaches discipline, hard work and sportsmanship. We believe that Tim Simon embodies everything that it means to be Blue Devil. From his hard work and dedication on the field during his high school and college years to the the positive impact he makes on all the students he mentors daily. It’s time to give a Cordova Blue Devil great a shot at this position. We all know that he will lead these young men on the field, in the classroom and in life.
