Die petisie is gerig aan: Vermont State Legislature

The Vermont Legislature has a handful of bills proposed to help address the housing crisis in Vermont. H.719 is a housing reform bill with tri-partisan support and cosponsored by over 30% of the House of Representatives. It is currently stuck on the wall in the House Committee on Energy Environment. S.311, known as the "BE Home" bill was passed unanimously out of the Senate Economic Development, Housing & General Affairs Committee. That bill now sits on the wall in the Senate Natural Resources & Energy Committee. Both bills have been killed be the Chairs of those two committees.

Instead of working on either bill, the House Energy and Environment Committee is pushing through a bill, H.687, that expands Act 250 red tape and further hinders the housing crisis.
