The current policy in Monroe County, Georgia, prohibits the use of recreational vehicles (RVs) as permanent residences. This policy has far-reaching implications for residents who find RVs an affordable and flexible housing option. However, we believe that it is the residents of Monroe County, the people most affected by this policy, who should have a say in this matter.

Therefore, we are advocating for a referendum on this policy. A referendum is a direct vote in which an entire electorate is invited to vote on a particular proposal.
