Reden

These Data centers are popping up all across the United States and affecting local residents water, as well as, driving up costs in electricity for residing residents.
Residents living near data centers in Missouri, Indiana, Idaho, Georgia, and Texas have claimed a dramatic decrease in quality of life due to noise/air/light and water pollution, health conditions, tax/utility increases, and increase in road traffic.
According to the BBC, residents near the data center in Mansfield, GA, cannot use their water due to resuced water pressure and debris caused by said data center. ( 'I can't drink the water' - life next to a US data centre - BBC News https://share.google/6u6aPIKJAUmH3S9DL)

Waarom mensen ondertekenen

Our water supply is what keeps this city alive. Your greed and inaction do not go unnoticed. Not to mention what it's going to do to increase the power consumption. This requires an infrastructure update for power generation on the river. Further pressing and destroying the ecosystem here. Costing more money that does not come out of a politicians check but the tax payer. This city has had enough. The traffic pressure has increased ten fold just with spooky nook and all of a sudden the power bills go up. The people are not blind and your bleeding the city you live in dry. We as the people have had enough!

It’s not good for the environment and will raise the cost of utilities

WE the PEOPLE do NOT WANT OR NEED these data centers who will do FAR MORE HARM than good. We MUST KEEP our CLEAN WATER and PUT THE HEALTH CONCERNS of our communities FIRST. We cannot afford the increase in electricity. They OFFER NOTHING POSITIVE to our communities. The TAX REVENUE is NOT WORTH the DETRIMENT the data centers WILL CAUSE!!

No one wants this. Its dangerous for the ecosystem and the water supply. We DONT NEED IT.

Concerns for community and environmental issues
