Require Voter ID and Protect U.S. Elections from Noncitizen Voting

I believe that voting in American elections is a right that should be reserved for eligible United States citizens. Our elections determine the future of our country, and it is important that we have laws in place to protect their integrity.

This petition calls for stronger enforcement of citizenship requirements and mandatory voter identification in all elections. Requiring individuals to provide valid identification and verify their eligibility would help ensure that every vote is legally cast and properly counted.

Noncitizens are already prohibited from voting in federal elections, but I believe we should have consistent standards that protect elections at the federal, state, and local levels. Voter ID requirements should also include reasonable options for eligible citizens who may have difficulty obtaining identification.

This is about protecting the voting process, ensuring accountability, and maintaining public confidence in our democracy. Every eligible American citizen deserves to know that their vote matters and that our election laws are being followed.
