TAKE NOTICE
Whereas, House Bill 11 passed during the 2024 Legislative Session of the Kentucky General Assembly is an economic threat to small businesses and state revenue.
Whereas, this legislation is meant to ensure that the nation's tobacco monopoly is maintained.
Whereas, this legislation is a prohibitionist effort that will endanger the people of Kentucky, exposing them to an influx of unregulated nicotine products.
Whereas, the judiciary has still yet to determine whether or not House Bill 11 is constitutional.
We, petitioners backed by The People's Movement Kentucky, fully support House Bill 62 during the 2025 Legislative Session to stay the enforcement of House Bill 11 until the courts have determined its constitutionality.
Begrundelse
HB11 is unconstitutional and should have never passed.

I am a 40 year old man who, choose to vape instead of smoking. I am being told I have to limit myself to certain flavors, enjoying my vaping experience is prohibited. I should be able to buy the products that I want, without the government telling me otherwise.
I’m 44yrs old and a former smoker. Vaping got me off the dangerous carcinogens that regular cigarettes have. Since switching to vaping 4yrs ago I breath better I don’t stink and I’m a lot healthier. I’m pissed that you would ban the one thing that got me off the dangerous of cigarettes but u have no issue with cigarettes being legal. I would much rather my child vape than smoke cigarettes even though my children currently do neither. I have no problem with alcohol either. And it’s because tobacco and alcohol is backed by big money. Put it on the ballot for the ppl to decide or outlaw tobacco as well. The fda approved !@#$! is crazy cause the fda is never going to approve cigarettes but they are not banded. Give me the choice it shouldn’t be up to u. We need to vote these republicans in our government out. Their over reach into what I do with my life is ridiculous.

I believe you should have a choice! As a adult if you want to vape and how with what flavor or be able to smoke whatever type of cigarette. Menthol or non-metal. It's not the government's decision. It's a personal decision.
