Peticija adresuota: Mayor Ryan P. Shirley and Members of the Holly Springs City Council
Brook Builder is proposing a new 184 Units development of a 20 acre parcel on Sixes Road. The plan is to annex the land to Holly Springs and rezone it to allow for the development.
Help us stop high density developments along Sixes Road.
Reasons:
- The Sixes Road corridor is characterized by a natural, wooded environmentand semi-rural residential pattern valued by current residents
- The proposed high-density residential development would result in the loss of approximately 20 acres of natural habitat supporting wildlife and contributing to the community’s environmental quality
- This proposed high-density use is inconsistent with adopted planning policies that indicate this corridor should develop in a manner that complements its existing low-density character
- Traffic conditions on Sixes Road and at the I-575 access points are already inadequate to support existing development and will be further strained by additional dense residential projects
- Cumulative approvals of recent high-density housing in the vicinity have exceeded roadway and municipal infrastructure capacity, negatively impacting safety, service delivery, and the daily quality of life of existing residents
Please sign the petition to stop new developments!
We want Green instead of Gridlock
Priežastis
Help us fight this high density development !
Sixes Rd is already dangerous enough , we do not need more vehicles every day.
It’s about quality of life, not maximizing profits for builders
