Petition is addressed to: The Home Minister of Malaysia

To appeal to the Malaysia Government to lift the ban on the book "The Golden Son of the Kadazan" by the Government of Malaysia on 22 Jun 1978 under the draconian Internal Security Act (ISA) 1960.

Reason

The continued ban on the book is unreasonable because the Sabah and for that matter the Malaysian society today are more matured.

The lifting of the ban will allow the people of Sabah to understand what transpired in the early days of Sabah turbulent politics. The book will also enlightened the people of Sabah the mistakes committed by Sabah leaders.

The book should be made available and be read by Malaysians and in particular Sabahans for them to move forward together devoid of suspicions and mistrust.
