There are currently 11 smoke shops in the city of Salina. There is a new smoke shop about to open on the corner of ninth Street, in the old family video building. Locals are afraid that it’s going to affect local smoke shop businesses, and think it’s unnecessary to have so many smoke shops in the city of Salina. Prevent the opening of another smoke shop in the city of Salina.
Reason
With another franchise corporation smoke shop moving into Salina it could affect local business owners and other shops in town. They could also put people out of work and said shops end up shutting down due to lack of business. Children in Salina already have multiple access to tobacco and nicotine and other controlled substances. Why do we need more smoke shops in Salina when we could be putting better alternatives in their place.
