Did you know that children living right next to Hoërskool Durbanville are being rejected and put on waiting lists, while kids from far outside our area are getting spots?
Our children are being forced to commute out of their own neighborhood because the WCED’s online system is failing our community.
We need your signature to demand that the WCED and the School Governing Body (SGB):
1. Put Local Kids First: Stop giving away spots to out-of-zone applicants until every local child is placed.
2. Be Transparent: Prove that proximity rules were strictly followed.
3. Fix the Space Crisis:
Bring in emergency classrooms to fit our community's children
Reason
Our kids deserve to go to school in their own neighborhood. It takes less than a minute to sign and make a difference!

The problem is that the school is 5km in our raduis but is always full, but they accomodate children form other places, now our children have to travel outside our surroundings to go to another school.
