Petition addressed to: The SAPS Western Cape Provincial Commissioner; The Minister of Police

Sign this petition to demand justice for Nhlamulo and to say NO to inter-ethnic violence, tribalism and vigilante justice in South Africa.

Reason

The heartbreaking news of 19-year-old Nhlamulo Sambo, a Tsonga teen from Limpopo who was fatally stabbed in Mossel Bay on 31 May 2026, has left us devastated. He lost his life after being tragically profiled and targeted in a wave of violent unrest.

This tragedy is a painful reminder of the destructive power of tribalism, profiling, and inter-ethnic conflict in our communities. No one should ever lose their life because of their language, background, or ethnicity. We must stand together to end this senseless violence and division.

Nhlamulo’s heartbroken mother is now facing the unimaginable pain of burying her teenage son.

Thank you so much for your support, Ano nymous, EGiyani

News

Not yet a PRO argument.

1. The petition states that Nhlamulo "lost his life after being tragically profiled and targeted in a wave of violent unrest." This is presented as an established fact. However, according to statements made by Western Cape police, preliminary investigations have not linked the murder to anti-immigration protests or ethnic profiling 2. The Western Cape police are pointing to an entirely different set of circumstances, though investigations are ongoing. 3. The petioner is lying.
