Evergreen residents as well as Denver skiers use this lot. It is always full, don’t take this away from our community.

This extremely large truck service station would route semi-truck traffic into the Evergreen exit from I-70; increasing truck traffic to the service area for neighboring communities (like Lookout Mountain, Genesee and Chief Hosa communities) and would increase dangerous down-hill semi-truck traffic to this Evergreen exit from I-70.

Open space/parking space is getting scarce. It is often where people gather before they head to the mountains.

Proposed development will stress existing infrastructure and increase traffic congestion and pollution.

This is an absolute money grab at all of our expense and basically encompasses all that is wrong with capitalism--deconstructing a potentially great property (in need of decent management or reinvisioning) to construct a sickening eyesore and pollution generator that absolutely NOBODY NEEDS, just to line the pockets of some suited doucebags and some cock-sucking wall street shareholders. This is a beautiful spot and is currently noise-compromised enough by I-70. Kick the corporate exploiters OUT OF EVERGREEN. Keep Evergreen anti-corporate, forever.

We don’t need more things built leave it as is. I’ve been a resident of the community and I’m tired of all the building of cement. Just stop ruining our lands

The last thing we need is a QT in Evergreen -- this will only bring more people, more traffic and degrade this community.

This is too big of a commercial impact on our small community.

Preserving an historic bldg

I’m a local resident near evergreen and am strongly against all of the negative (albeit unintended) consequences that would happen to our community if a QuikTrip is added. This is a safe community of young families and retirees, it’s not an appropriate location for a truck stop.

Not confident in benefits to community.

Evergreen won’t be green with all of the pollutants this will bring. We should not become another city that loses its history to QT truck stops. There will be trucks everywhere on the side of the road. Rift raft at the stations and an increase in crime.

Preserving historical buildings is in the public interest. This community does not need industrial development such as a truck refueling station. The proposed action is a shame and should be scrapped.

I grew up living next to El Rancho. I lived there before it was redone and it was the restaurant it is today. It has always been apart of my life and has been a staple in the evergreen community. This piece of history cannot be taken away

There is absolutely no need for another truck stop/convenience store when there is already a Walmart a huge gas station across the street. It will take away the character of the area and a building that is such an important part of the town of evergreen

A truck stop would be detrimental to the historic and scenic small-town character of this area.

The area is too small for big rigs, & also it collects a large amount of snow, as it on the back side of the hill; it always ices up deep in winter. Not a good location. Chief Hosa area, or Lookout Mountain is sunnier; & better.

My family visited El Rancho many many times growing up and it is an establishment worth saving.

No room for a truck stop there

I live less than a mile from El Rancho. We use Hwy 40 to get on I70 east and cannot imagine how bad the noise and traffic will be with the type of development they're talking about. And I have decades of memories at El Rancho. It deserves to be saved.

We don’t need another gas station. The traffic it will be bringing into Evergreen and potential fire danger.

Keeping a community feel in Evergreen is far more important than creating a truck stop. Keep the historic landmarks that are left in Colorado and allow them to benefit our greater community and the future generations of Evergreen and the CO Front range. There are plenty of gas stations along I70, there is no need to ruin a tight-knit, special mountain town with a truck stop.

have family in Evergreen near the land in question, and visit there frequently, plus go there for public open space and travel those roads

I’m concerned about the environmental
Impact, as well as the damage to the character of our community.

We have live here for 20 years in evergreen and don’t see the reason to destroy a long time landmark for another gas station. Most of us gas up down the hill because it is Cheeper so it’s not. Something that would benefit the owner or the community. If this goes thru I could see us all not supporting that station and at some point QT would walk and were sitting with a vacant gas station.

I feel a truck stop would bring crime drugs and prostitution to Evergreen Parkway.

Too prevent and reduce local over-expansion.

I have lived in the Evergreen area for 40+ years. Over the years El Rancho has been the place to celebrate with family and friends. The thought of this historical building being torn down breaks my heart.
