No more increase on CDD already paying over 6k in CDD

The reason is there's no honesty or transparency of where my money is going every year CDD increases without a reasonable explanation. I was told the unsold lots other homeowners have to pay taxes for. I only live on one Lot it's not fair to homeowners to pay for the unsold lots. My taxes increased so much I am thinking about selling. I don't trust how they are allocating funds.

This petition is very important to me. It is beyond a joke how much our CDD is, and being raised every year. We sold one of our two houses earlier this year. But before it sold. The biggest worry for potential buyers, who would have loved to live at our beautiful Community is the CDD part of the total Property Tax. So I TV makes it harder to sell. Also I was disgusted to see that 3 of 5 Board members pay zero CDD. What do the remaining 3 board members think of that.

The incompetence of our HOA and CDD boards has not only lead to the deterioration of our community, decreased home values, minimal amenities in comparison to other comparable communities and the few amenities that we do have are not well maintained. It is a travesty to think us, the homeowners, are paying well over $4000 in HOA and CDD fees every year, which is absurd, with nothing to show for it. Where or should I say, to whom is that money going? Ultimately, whenever a simple inquiry is made in regards to our community, it is met with very unprofessional and outright rude responses from specific members of the board. Such responses are purely unacceptable, if a board member is incapable of responding to a homeowner in a polite and professional manner, they should not be allowed to occupy that role within our community....

We don’t have more than 400 hundred houses in the community and we need 500 hundred signatures, please any person in your household with a valid email must fill this petition otherwise we are not going to complete our goal.
CDD charges are super high. Teamwork makes the dream work.

The petition is impotent to me because I am a single woman who every year has to struggle to pay my mortgage due to ours constant increase. Every year the CDD and HOA goes up. It’s hard to pay that! Why do I have to pay so much for a townhouse?! In addition, there are some pens for my townhouse that hasn’t been addressed in years that I have brought to the chairman’s attention on a number of occasions. The landscaping is also horrible.

CDD going up. I’m not perfect. I understand when I get a letter to either pressure wash my driveway or fence. But when houses next to me look like a junk yard, full of cars and trailers, then no one says nothing to them.
