Petition addressed to: The Arizona State Legislature
We, the people of the State of Arizona, request that the Arizona State Legislature amend fireworks statutes to limit the use of legal fireworks to be allowable only on the eve of major holidays, from 7PM to midnight. Major holidays are exclusively New Year's eve, Fourth of July eve and Cinco de Mayo eve.
Reason
The use of fireworks has gotten out of hand with permissible extended periods of time, as long as 2 weeks, during which the use of fireworks is permissible. It has gotten out of hand and affects children, pets and the ill and elderly.
