The Lead-Free Military Surfaces Act aims to eliminate the use of harmful lead-based paints on all exterior surfaces within the U.S. military. This includes exterior surfaces which utilize lead based paint or paints containing lead. This includes but is not limited to Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC).

Reason

Lead exposure poses serious health risks, including neurological damage, chronic headaches, joint pain, and memory and focus difficulties. By signing this petition, you support the removal and replacement of lead-based paints, ensuring a safer environment for our service members and their families. This action will protect their health, enhance military readiness, and demonstrate our commitment to their well-being. Join us in advocating for a lead-free military to safeguard those who protect our nation.

Thank you for your support, Ethan J Vickery , Bedford, VA
