This petition is to show the City of Emmet that local residents support the creation of a safe, accessible, and well-maintained dog park. Our goal is to provide a designated space where dogs can exercise, socialize, and play off-leash in a secure environment. A community dog park promotes responsible pet ownership, strengthens community bonds, and offers a healthy outlet for both pets and their owners. By signing this petition, you are showing city leaders that there is a real need and strong public support for a dog park in our town.
If we get the City's Approval members of the EVA said that they will help make it happen.

A dog park in Emmet would:

Even though I do not live in Emmet, I frequent the dog park in Texarkana and I see how valuable it is to the community. A dog park is a valuable asset to the community because it provides a safe, designated space for dogs to exercise, socialize, and burn off energy. It also brings people together, encouraging social interaction and fostering a sense of community among dog owners. Additionally, dog parks promote responsible pet ownership and can reduce behavioral issues in pets caused by lack of activity. Overall, they enhance the quality of life for both dogs and their owners while making the neighborhood more pet-friendly and connected.
