Reason
The development of the Milk Block and surrounding businesses on 900 S has been a wonderful addition to our community, but it’s becoming harder to park on the street. Many houses on our street don’t have private parking spaces, and backyard parking spaces can be expensive to add or hard to reach.

We live on Blair street and there are people going to Loki, Nona, and Legendarium constantly, which is great for those businesses. The problem is that they are parking on our street and we have to strategize how to park in order to have access. We even reduced our backyard to provide a spot for off street parking for one of our cars.
It is important to me to get this permit, because I do not like having to walk a block or more to get back to my house. Because there are so many other cars on my street or I don't like having to get up in the morning time and walk around the corner to get my car.Because I could not park it on my street.The night before, I really feel something should be done about this.

We have no driveway so we street park on 400 S. We have 2 kids so parking near our home is important as we are often schlepping kids and attendant things when exciting vehicle. We are only a few doors down from 900 S so we see a lot of Milk Block traffic parking in front of our house, often in a sub-optimal way that effectively reduces the number of already limited spots on our block.
