Currently, the campus lacks healthy food options for students and staff. There is only one salad bar/healthy food option offered on campus. There should be more healthy food options on campus than unhealthy food options which is currently not the case. Food has a big impact on people’s energy levels and ability to focus which is important as students spend hours on campus studying and learning. Most students are on campus for long periods at a time and rely on the food on campus to get them through the day. Opening a Sweetgreen on campus would offer students a healthy place to eat in between classes and studying which is why it is necessary to open one!
