We, the students of Nu'uuli Vocational Technical High School, are asking for your support and awareness regarding the wrongful removal of our head football coach and teacher, Coach Will.
Reason
Coach William Lobendahn plays a vital and impactful role at Nu’uuli Vocational Technical High School. He is not only the head football coach, but also a teacher and the head advisor of our National Technical Honor Society. He stands as a powerful role model, shaping us not only into stronger athletes and students, but into well-rounded individuals. His guidance teaches us discipline, resilience, and the values needed to face life’s challenges with confidence, while also preparing us to be career-ready. His impact reaches far beyond the classroom or playing field and helps shape our future.
The attempt to remove him would be a significant loss for all of us. Coach Will has consistently dedicated his time and energy to improving our skills, while also encouraging the values of hard work, discipline, and integrity. He is more than just a coach; he is a mentor who has created an environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
Our island and its students have greatly benefited from his commitment and wisdom. He has hosted various events such as Friendsgiving on Thanksgiving, the Giving Tree for Christmas, Toys for Tots, Flip Your Drip, and volunteering at the Hope House, all with the purpose of bettering our island, spreading love/giving back, and strengthening our community. Losing Coach Will would be a major setback. It is important to acknowledge the powerful influence he has had on our school. For years, he has guided, disciplined, and inspired students with continuous dedication and care.
We must recognize and sustain the positive impact Coach William Lobendahn has on us students and our school. Please help us fight to keep Coach Will at NVTHS by signing this petition so he can continue to influence students in a positive way. By signing, you are not only helping him, but also helping us, his students, by keeping such an important guide and role model who has truly inspired and encouraged each and every one of us to become the best versions of ourselves.

He honestly did not get paid enough to deal with us, but he honestly did cherish and make every moment of high school memorable for his students.
As I read the signatures/comments of these individuals, I am compelled to express my unwavering support for the petition to reinstate Coach William Lobendahn at Nu'uuli Vocational Technical High School. Although I may not know Coach William personally, I firmly believe in the values and principles he represents, and I recognize the profound impact he has had on the students and community he serves.
Coach Lobendahn is more than just a football coach; he is a mentor, a role model, and a source of inspiration for young athletes. His dedication to fostering teamwork, discipline, and personal growth extends beyond the football field. The values he instills in his players extend into their academic and personal lives, preparing them for future challenges and successes.
The decision to remove Coach William appears to overlook the significant contributions he has made. This situation raises important questions about the values of our educational system. And we have the right to fight for what is right. As I mentioned, I don't know Coach William that well, but I know him from the people he has done so much for. He inspires students, and he urges them to be ambitious about their goals ! So this petition is not only important to me but also to those who were inspired by him. So I don't know what the problem is?.

This petition is important to me because I want to help the kids fight for Coach Will. I had him as a Teacher and although he was rough from time to time.It was because he cared. I do not support his removal I see it as unfair .
