Petition addressed to: Storytaco (and Kidari Studio)
We, the community of Zerowake GATES players, respectfully request that Storytaco release an offline or preservation version of the game after the official server shutdown on October 9, 2026. This version would simply allow players to revisit the story, view their favorite characters, and keep what we already have — no new content updates required.
Reason
Zerowake GATES launched with tremendous expectations, yet it was shut down in less than 10 months. Despite this, our global community remains active every single day on Discord — archiving screenshots, sharing memories, and keeping the spirit of the game alive.
We understand that maintaining live servers is expensive. But a simple offline version, one that lets us look at our characters and replay the story we love, would mean the world to us. There is precedent for this: Aquaplus released Utawarerumono: Lost Frag Story Archives — an offline version of a shut-down mobile game — to preserve its story and characters.
We are not asking for new content. We are asking for a place to return to. A way to ensure that the memories we made in Zerowake GATES are not erased forever.
Please, Storytaco. Let us keep what we love.
