Roundabout is coming to US 12 in Morton. We are opposing this and are creating petition against it for the citizens of Morton Washington. We do not want this roundabout and we’re asking WSDOT to cancel plans for this catastrophic idea

Reason

Roundabout coming to US 12 in Morton we’d like to oppose this initiative regarding WSDOT officials that have plans to build this roundabout on Highway 12 state Route seven this would lead to major traffic problems and accidents and alternative could be a traffic light

We do not need roundabouts on the busy 55 mph highway that is Hwy-12. Too much large truck traffic and too many local people who are not familiar with roundabouts. We need a traffic light, not a roundabout.

This will cause more issues than it will solve as so many people do not know how to properly use a roundabout. A light i could get behind a roundabout is going to end up causing more accidents.

Round about is horrible idea.
Lower speed limit or add a light.

Round about would be waste of time and money.
A stop light or lowered speed limit through the area would be a lot more cost effective.

I would rather see a traffic light than a round about. Round about are ok on side streets and smaller roads, but it doesn't seem like a good idea on a 55 MPH highway.
