Petition addressed to: City of Morton

Roundabout is coming to US 12 in Morton. We are opposing this and are creating petition against it for the citizens of Morton Washington. We do not want this roundabout and we’re asking WSDOT to cancel plans for this catastrophic idea

Reason

Roundabout coming to US 12 in Morton we’d like to oppose this initiative regarding WSDOT officials that have plans to build this roundabout on Highway 12 state Route seven this would lead to major traffic problems and accidents and alternative could be a traffic light

Thank you so much for your support, Citizens of Lewis County, Morton

Why people sign

I live in Morton, I do not want a dangerous roundabout installed at that intersection

It's a un needed cost and there's no point what is there is working just fine people just need to learn how to drive

It's important because having a roundabout is NOT safe on hwy 12. THINK ABOUT THE SEMI TRUCKS AND TRAILERS!
Also the speed limits at 55 mph....traffic lights would have been safe to use....

I drive on highway 12 and state route 7 and this would not be good for traffic or safe

It will cause too many wrecks, especially with freight trucks.
