Dear Guidepost Community,
Thank you for signing and sharing the petition urging Guidepost Montessori to join the PCUN v. Noem lawsuit. While Guidepost as a corporation chose not to participate, I am proud to share that our local school leaders have shown great courage by joining the lawsuit themselves.
The Head of School, Amy Lomanto; Assistant Head of School, Hanna Mae Anderson; and Toddler Lead Guide, Lauren Fong are now named plaintiffs in the amended complaint, alongside other organizations across the country. Their leadership ensures that what happened in our community will not be ignored, and helps protect schools and other sacred spaces nationwide. I have also joined the lawsuit, and I hope to stand in for all parents in our community.
The Amended Complaint is attached for those who wish to read it.
If you see Amy, Hanna, or Lauren around school, please take a moment to thank them and recognize their bravery in stepping forward on behalf of our children and families.
