I want to thank everyone who signed the petition to stop the development off of Joe Lewis Rd. near Wells Highway. In addition to submitting the petition, several of us spoke at the zoning hearing as well as the city council meeting. As a result, the developer withdrew his petition the day the development was going to be voted on!

In consideration of my efforts to stop this development, and the research that has gone into this project, I want to let you know that I have filed to run for a seat on Seneca City Council. One of my main goals will be to put a pause for at least six months on any new developments.

If you live within the city limits of Seneca, I hope you will vote at the Shaver Center on November 4. If you wish to vote early, you can vote at the elections office at 415 S. Pine St. in Walhalla:
