Development of the Observatory lot needs careful planning that conforms to the natural beauty of Evergreen, with no overly tall structure that would change the character of the area completely.
Hwy 40 is already dangerous there and
traffic added to constant backups on I-70 would imperil residents in an evacuation, where we already have only one way in and out of our neighborhoods. Numerous Air Bnb homes in the area does not equate to need for another hotel.
No residential lot should be converted to commercial zoning. Adhere to EAP guidelines.
El Rancho itself and its landmark sign should be preserved as the historic icon that it is.
