This will put excessive financial demands on property owners in Los Angeles. LA is not ready to add more demands on the weak power grid. How about implementing changes to new builds and major remodels that also include solar panels and backup batteris.

I want FREEDOM of CHOICE! ( I HATE ELECTRIC APPLIANCES - gas is better! More controllable!
If SDG&E weren’t overcharging for power, maybe I’d have a different opinion!)

Enviromental issues

Now is not the time for regulation and fees. We need to stop crime, illegal activities and homelessness.

With so much uncertainty in our world today this would just add additional financial burdens, It just doesn’t make any sense

The cost of living is CA is insanely high already. By making life more expensive and inconvenient here, we will continue to sink in our property values, standard of living, and desirability.

These bills put undue burden on homeowners with more viable options available.

These amended rules will burden consumers with over $300 million annually or $7.7 billion over the 25-year life of these appliances. With California’s soaring cost of living and many consumers struggling to keep up, now is not the time to impose additional costs on consumers.

We should have a choice

I should be able to choose what appliances I need in my home without being penalized. Affordability is a major issue in California. This proposal, if passed, will make it impossible for many to become homeowners!

Homeowners and homebuyers cannot allow additional costs to be imposed upon them. The impact to the environment is minimal vs. the cost that will be passed on.

I want to be able to choose gas.

Wrong to impose electric appliances on homeowners. Also the cost it will take to implement this change.

I would like choice in what appliances I put in my home

The cost of electricity is already too expensive & the grid cannot handle the demand already here.

Switching to all electric is too costly.

We can’t afford the electric bill as it is that alone Edison having a monopoly on all of our utilities here in California! They don’t have enough power as it is other than ripping off people that have solar panels!
This is a very unfair bill to us Americans in California and totally oppose it!

This is beyond OUTRAGIOUS! We are already being burdeoned with Electricity outages as we do not have an ample Power Grid as it stands today. The additional burdeon of forced electrical additions to our homes is absolutely debil

Because the consumer is important to me and most people are already struggling financially. They don’t need one more thing that is really not necessary.

I oppose the Proposed Amended Rules 1111 & 1121 because they create added burdens without offering practical, affordable solutions. This matters to me as a real estate professional because the changes could increase costs, delay projects, and make homeownership less accessible for the communities I serve. I support sustainability, but it must be balanced with realistic implementation.

The people have spoken. They don’t want electric stoves. There is no valid reason to put this burden on Californians who are over taxed already. We have the highest property taxes in the nation, the highest gas taxes etc. etc. This would affect everyone, renters owner’s and business alike.

I don't want electric heat.

The electric company keep raising rates. They they have power outages. Our air quality has improved over the last several years. We should be able to have personal options. When the power goes out we have to relay on gas back up generators. The electric companies lobbies have taken over. Give the people our voice back
