This is beyond OUTRAGIOUS! We are already being burdeoned with Electricity outages as we do not have an ample Power Grid as it stands today. The additional burdeon of forced electrical additions to our homes is absolutely debil

Because the consumer is important to me and most people are already struggling financially. They don’t need one more thing that is really not necessary.

I oppose the Proposed Amended Rules 1111 & 1121 because they create added burdens without offering practical, affordable solutions. This matters to me as a real estate professional because the changes could increase costs, delay projects, and make homeownership less accessible for the communities I serve. I support sustainability, but it must be balanced with realistic implementation.

The people have spoken. They don’t want electric stoves. There is no valid reason to put this burden on Californians who are over taxed already. We have the highest property taxes in the nation, the highest gas taxes etc. etc. This would affect everyone, renters owner’s and business alike.

I don't want electric heat.

Too expensive

The electric company keep raising rates. They they have power outages. Our air quality has improved over the last several years. We should be able to have personal options. When the power goes out we have to relay on gas back up generators. The electric companies lobbies have taken over. Give the people our voice back

During a time where everything is so expensive and electricity is one of the most expensive products. What you are asking consumers to do is not fair and there is no reason to do it.

There are other priorities that should take precedence.

This is a cost we can’t afford and this commission is a puppet for the utility companies

Better Air quality

People should be free to decide what type of product they would like to purchase. I believe wholesale dependence on electricity could lead to mass energy shortages in the future. Electric water heaters have a relatively short lifespan and are very costly to install and maintain.

The electric smart meters are not in the best interest of the people. The electric bills are extremely high. There are surges in usage even when there is NO USAGE, and have adverse effects on health.

Natural gas is cleaner than electricity, cheaper & more efficient, especially when we our electricity goes out!

Our power grid is already maxed out. Rates are too high already, nat gas is plentiful and cheaper. Oh and let's not forgot the people should have a choice.

I prefer to use gas appliances. Better efficiency. Electricity is too expensive.

The state of California's position is that we have affordable housing.
This new burden will not make houses more affordable.

I wanna be free to have the choice to have gas appliances , and not to have to pay extra fees for it. You must also consider the economics for seniors and elderly homeowners as well they will not be able to afford an all electric mandate The electric companies have a monopoly and is pure greed-They have already tripled rates during prime time.. , and they are doing nothing to expand the Grid, It is not hurting the environment to continue to have gas home appliances, and it is not realistic either.. we should impose ultra-low NOx emission standards to make natural gas appliances even more environmentally friendly at no additional cost to consumers. Expense, too much government intervention, free choice, cost of electricity, government over involved

This petition matters because California’s cost of living is already sky-high, and adding more expenses just isn’t the right move. These proposed rules could cost consumers millions more each year. So many families are already doing their best to make ends meet, and this would only add more pressure when they can least afford it.

Electricity is more expensive to run those same appliances then gas.

According to the international energy agencies, global energy review, hydrocarbon growth, exceeded the growth and renewables last year. The report also shows the oil, natural gas, and coal provide more than five times as much primary electricity to the global economy than those so-called renewables. Electricity is expensive and not as clean or as renewable as pundits would have people believe. Gas is a cheaper and more viable power source. I prefer my gas bill over my electric bill Amy time of the year.
