My daughter and grandchildren live there - it would increase crime in the area, decrease the value of their property, and overall give them additional health risks. There is already a gas station at the entrance of one entrance to Sterling and several more within a few miles.
Crime, decreased property values, , aesthetics, and too much traffic.
Already have a gas station outside our subdivision. A second one isn’t needed.
Devalue our neighborhood.
I live in this subdivision
I don’t think a gas station belongs at the entrance to this neighborhood when there already is one not far from it
Safety
Decreases property values while increasing crime. A Gas Station at the entrance to the largest neighborhood in the county would be an awful look for our council and mayor.
Not an appropriate space for a gas station. We will be putting unfair pressure on the existing gas station who has happily served this community for years. I would expect Flowery Branch City Planners to try to design continuity in the community, placing businesses in appropriate spaces, and keeping residential places looking residential. I would love Flowery Branch to look like intention and thoughtfulness was put into the design of the entire city, not just the downtown area.
This intersection is bad already! We have a gas station 200 yards from this location!
Safety and environmental
I want to maintain the aesthetician of my community and keep crime at bay. The gas station is a magnet for crime.
No need to have another gas station, especially at the front entrance of our subdivision.
This proposed gas station is adjacent to a large neighborhood and will adversely affect the neighborhood and local school traffic and adjacent foot traffic.
Do not want the eyesore, additional traffic flow near neighborhood entrance. Already have 1 existing gas station in close proximity

We don't need another GAS STATION, we already have a Shell gas station blocks away located at 6360 Spout Springs Rd. And gas stations do affect an increase in traffic, public safety and depreciation of home values. Along with several other negative issues.
Diminished property values and an increase in potential crime. Also, increased traffic on Lake Sterling Blvd.
An additional gas station is not necessary, we have one less than a half mile from the location of the proposed gas station
I live nearby.
Because my neighborhood entrance shouldn’t be a gas station.
It affects our neighborhood. Crime, additional traffic , dangerous emissions and we already have a gas station within .5 miles of proposed site
Protect neighborhood environment.
I live behind this potential gas station. There is a gas station at the corner of capitola farms and spout springs. Also, as there is also a Montessori school proposed, this would not be an appropriate business near a school.
The beauty of our neighborhood and concerned with traffic.
This proposal will cause too much traffic at our sub division entrance. We do not need another gas station.
Commercial heavy use
Near neighborhoods and Churches
Affect quality of life in my neighborhood
This gas station should not be next to a large subdivision and definitely should not have an entrance through Sterling On The Lake subdivision.
We already have several gas stations on Sprout Springs and adding another one isn’t necessary at the entrance to a residential area!
