The current policy in Monroe County, Georgia, prohibits the use of recreational vehicles (RVs) as permanent residences. Therefore, we are advocating for a referendum on this policy. A referendum is a direct vote in which an entire electorate is invited to vote on a particular proposal. This process would allow every resident of Monroe County to voice their opinion and vote on whether RVs should be permitted as permanent residences.
