The current policy in Monroe County, Georgia, prohibits the use of recreational vehicles (RVs) as permanent residences. However, we believe that it is the residents of Monroe County, the people most affected by this policy, who should have a say in this matter.

Therefore, we are advocating for a referendum on this policy. A referendum is a direct vote in which an entire electorate is invited to vote on a particular proposal. This process would allow every resident of Monroe County to voice their opinion and vote on whether RVs should be permitted as permanent residences.
