Petition is addressed to: JetBrains s.r.o.

We're starting this petition to express our interest in making Space open source.

Space has been a valuable tool for many of us, and we believe that by opening it to the community, it can continue to grow and thrive even beyond its private preview phase.

This isn't about demanding anything, but rather showing JetBrains how much we care about Space and the potential it has.

If you're also interested in seeing Space become open source, please consider signing and showing your support.

Thanks in advance!

Reason

Space has made a real difference in our day-to-day work, helping us be more productive and collaborate better.

By making it open source, we can keep it alive and make sure it keeps improving. The community could bring fresh ideas, fix issues more quickly, and adapt it to our needs.
This isn't just about preserving a tool we like — it's about giving it a chance to grow in ways that only an open community can make possible.

Thank you for your support, Daniel Kollmannsberger , Aiglsbach

JetBrains has historically been a company friendly to their community. Even though Space may not be financially viable, the community would love to give back to JetBrains by maintaining it for them. But we can only do that if it's made open source.

No CONTRA argument yet.
