Petition is addressed to: Indiana Department of Transportation

This is a request to INDOT to redesign the heavy traffic intersection of Hangmans Crossing and US 50 west of Seymour, Indiana.

Reason

With hundreds of thousands of people traveling through this intersection yearly, the increase in accidents continue to rise. finding a safe solution to protect our community and those traveling through it shouldn’t be a consideration, but rather a top priority.

Thank you for your support, Bret Cunningham , Seymour

Why people sign

This particular intersection is so dangerous, there have been numerous accidents including deaths here. I personally have contacted the state highway department siting the safety issues and asking for a remedy, unfortunately I got no resolve.

As a resident I know the traffic accidents that have occurred and how often they are serious or fatal, compared to other areas.
